Cordless lawn mowers are push mowers powered by two 18V batteries for cutting the lawn without petrol or a power cable. The group includes 2x18V lawn mowers with 34, 37 and 43 cm cutting widths. The mowers are used on the lawns of detached houses, terraced houses and summer cottages. The machines use two Yato 18V batteries, which also fit the other machines in the range.

Selection criteria

  • Cutting width: the 34 cm mower is light and suits small and tight lawns, the 37 cm mower medium-sized lawns and the 43 cm mower larger lawns.
  • Cutting height: the cutting height is adjustable, depending on the model for example 20–65 mm or 25–75 mm.
  • Grass box: the cut grass is collected in a box. The large model has a 50 l box and a fill indicator.
  • Batteries: the mower uses two 18V batteries at the same time (2x18V). Larger batteries, for example 2 x 4–6 Ah, extend the run time.
  • Body only or set: a body-only model is supplied without batteries and charger, while a set includes two 4 Ah batteries and a charger.

Frequently asked questions about cordless lawn mowers

Why does the lawn mower have two batteries?
The two 18V batteries are connected in series, giving a voltage of 36 V. This gives the mower power for dense and long grass as well.

How large a lawn can you mow on one charge?
The area depends on the size of the batteries and on the length and moisture of the grass. Wet and long grass uses more power, so for larger lawns it is worth choosing larger batteries or keeping a second pair of batteries.
